Roger has been active in the web-conferencing industry since 1999. He has been called “the Michael Jordan of online presentations and virtual classes”. Roger has an incredible resume of delivering conference keynotes and online presentations, publishing research and much more. During this episode, Roger discusses why he doesn’t like the term “webinar”. He feels this term has become meaningless and that “web-based seminars” are not reflective of how webinars are being used. He feels that the word webinar refers to the medium not the purpose of the presentation, which isn’t very useful. Rather than blame the medium of webinars for any purpose we should focus on helping people improve their webinar skills.

He has been called “the Michael Jordan of online presentations and virtual classes”.
