Sara Moric works in communications and PR for the Web3 industry, with stints at BitPanda, one of the biggest European exchanges, and LimeWire, a music NFT space that was created with the intent to make NFTs go mainstream. Sara visits the Women in Web3 podcast to discuss the evolution and possibilities of NFTs. She describes how the public’s definition of NFTs is constantly changing and can mean something different to everyone.
Sara's favorite part about NFTs is that they give artists direct support and investments from their fans, rather than having to go through a large streaming service. She also tells us how NFTs aren’t just photos or jpegs; they are digital assets that can unlock exclusive meet and greets, access to clubs, and so much more. Sara realizes that the power of owning digital assets is what's carrying NFTs and will sustain their longevity in Web3. "If we think of it in the bigger picture, people have been interested in collecting items for as long as we can remember, and NFTs aren’t so different from that." Sara also shares her knowledge on how communications and PR is changing with Web3, and how you can easily get in touch with journalists from just one easy click -- via an app you probably already have on your phone!
