Hello, and Welcome to the What If: South is Up? The podcast where we invite you along with us as we learn to wing it like an author. We are Derrick Hall and C. X. Lefebvre - Two new-to-the-game fantasy authors taking our first steps into the great unknown of creating worlds from scratch.
We continue with 'Darlings: Dead or Alive' in which we each share a favorite line that we have written, but are allowed no explanation or context.
In our game of What if? we ask 'What if magic suddenly appeared in a world without it?' -- A scenario that spawns talk of rabbits, supervillains, and religious cults.
Entries are still open for our flash fiction contest from the last episode. Write a piece of flash fiction (1000 words or less) related to the question What If the continents rode on the backs of giant creatures? and send it to us. We'll pick a winner from the submissions to invite on the show where you can read your submission and share your projects with the world and join us in playing What If?.
