WHAT’S POPPIN – RELATIONSHIPS

Talk show host, Wendy Williams, FIRED some members of her staff including producers because she believed they were behind the rumors about her husband, Kevin Hunter, cheating on her with another woman. Williams believes her husband is not cheating and that the fired staff people were disloyal to promote the rumor.

Q. According to an extensive article in the Daily Mail UK, the mailbox in front of the home Kevin Hunter shares with his mistress has both of their names. Who do you think will stop this charade first, Wendy or Kevin?

WHAT’S POPPIN – RELATIONSHIPS

Cynthia Bailey, one of the stars of The Real Housewives of Atlanta sat down with Essence to talk about her relationship with Peter Thomas. Ms. Bailey said,

“we actually have unfinished business. I'm his partner at Bar One Atlanta. We're building it out now. This was a project that we started while we were together, and we kind of put it on hold while we were kind of not liking each other so much."

"Just because you're not with someone anymore, because it didn't work, whatever, doesn't mean they're still not family. I still do look at him as family. There are still relationships that are in place, that I want to go on forever. We're just no longer together. I have no regrets. We had a great run. A lot of great things came out of our marriage. It just didn't work out."

Q. Are you surprised that Cynthia Bailey is taking the high road? Do you think she should cash out now from this business, or as soon as she can? Or, do you think that these two could have a profitable business together?

WHAT’S POPPIN – MUSIC

John Legend is using his platform to shed light on injustices in our society. In his latest single, The Penthouse Floor, from the album, Darkness and Light, Legend is sending a message both lyrically and visually about the importance of reaching higher and then using your success to unite and elevate those around you.

Q. There are times when it seems like we are getting closer to that ideal, particularly when disaster strikes. Could this be a reality, and if you think not, why not?

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE OF THE WEEK:

Our Motivational Quote of the Week is:

“We must put the days of waiting on our ship to come in behind us. It is time to learn how to swim out to the ship, or better yet, create our own ship and to sail where God has intended us to go.”
