Regret is Growing at NBC For Pushing Tamron Hall Out The Door to make room for former FOX News host, Megyn Kelly. Prior to Kelly’s debut, NBC was reportedly in a "panic" fearing that Megyn Kelly could not attract non-White and younger audiences for her daytime show. And, fear grew into reality because Kelly’s new show debuted … And, Tamron Hall has moved on to the Weinstein Company to create a new daytime talk show.

Well, as they say, when one door closes, another one opens. And for Tamron Hall, another door is opening that I’m sure that she would rather it stay shut! According to reports, the former Today show anchor is being dragged into the ugly divorce of Jesse Jackson Jr. — and the former U.S. congressman is not happy about it.

Jackson’s estranged wife, former Chicago alderman Sandi Jackson, has filed court papers requesting subpoenas be issued for Hall, as well as 11 other people, including Former Chicago Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy, who “have been identified as persons having knowledge of the circumstances that led to the estrangement of the parties, financial issues raised, and allegations made in this matter,” according to the court filing.

Can we just say that Black Girl Magic was on display at the US OPEN! While tennis star, Serena Williams was out on maternity leave, her sister Venus, Madison Keys, and Sloane Stephens were holding it down. All three made it to the US OPEN semi-finals and this was the first US OPEN women’s final with two Black women at center court and their names were not Williams. Congratulations to Sloane Stephens for winning it all!

The Kevin Hart comedy Night School just added another name to its roster. Insecure actress Yvonne Orji is set to join Hart and Tiffany Haddish in the movie directed by Malcolm D. Lee (Girls Trip, The Best Man Holiday, Barbershop: The Next Cut). Based on a story by Hart, Night School follows a group of misfits who are forced to attend adult classes in the longshot chance that they’ll pass the GED exam.

John Legend revealed in an interview with The Guardian, a British newspaper, he tried to break up with Chrissy Teigen years ago and she was not having it. Legend was on tour and feeling stressed. The breakup lasted 90 minutes.

R&B singer, Usher Raymond IV, better known as Usher, is back in the news. As you know, two women and a man represented by attorney Lisa Bloom sued the R&B singer, saying he allegedly had sexual relations with them in the past without telling them he has the STD. Bloom is now saying, one tested positive for the herpes virus.

However, Usher’s legal team is having none of it, recently filing a response saying that the singer "general and specifically denies each and every allegation contained in the complaint and the entirety thereof, including each purported cause of action contained therein."

Now, get this, the documents also state, that any "alleged conduct" by the singer, "which is expressly denied," was "unintentional" and that each of the accusers "assumed the risk of any alleged harm" that they may have suffered related to the allegations. Lisa Bloom says, see you in court!

Now, many people are asking why is Usher having unprotected sex if he knows he has herpes. However, his attorneys are saying, he doesn’t have herpes, but even if he does, it is your responsibility to protect you!

John Mayer tried to shoot his shot on Twitter, with Nicki Minaj! Meyer posted on Twitter,

"I spend an inordinate amount of time per day wondering if Nicki Minaj would like me or not."

It didn’t take long for Nikki Minaj to respond: Would my body be your wonderland? Referring to Meyer’s 2001 classic, "Your Body Is a Wonderland."

But while waiting for Nicki’s response, plenty of people on Twitter responded for Nicki ranging from go for it to people reminding Mayer of his infamous comment in a Playboy when he was asked Black women throw themselves at him. Mayer responded in part,

“I’ve got a Benetton heart and a fuckin’ David Duke cock.”

Now, should Nicki Minaj really take him seriously, or do you think with the passage of time, Nicki, or any other Black woman should give him a chance?
