Charismatic vs. Contemplative Prayer. This is an age-old question that Christians from around the world have pondered.
But like most things in life, the conversation is better about understanding the value in both rather than why one is better than the other.
So, in this episode, I dive into the two different types of prayer and what we can learn from both.
Charismatic Prayer is a great way to worship God expressly. It uses our bodies and brings people together in a way that has a powerful prayer. When people sing together, it is a beautiful thing.
Contemplative Prayer is one of the most historical ways to worship God. And it has stayed around for a reason. Quieting noise and finding time to hear God's voice will always be important.
However, if you like to pray, listen to this episode and share it with friends. The most important thing is that we realize Christ's love for us, and Prayer is the way we come to know this fact.
We aim to celebrate the everyday life of following Jesus here at BackSeat Media. It is an honor to use the talents God has bestowed to proclaim the Gospel to many. Make sure to follow us on all platforms to join our Journey.
