Wonder Woman 1984 _reunites writer-director Patty Jenks with Gal Gadot as Diana Price in a glitzy 80s sequel the first Wonder Woman_ blockbuster. Delayed due to COVID and finally released simultaneous in theaters and on HBOMax, WW84 does not have the same impact as its predecessor. However, there are layers worth exploring in Diana's development, and the introduction of Kristen Wiig as Cheetah and Pedro Pascal as Maxwell Lord add dimension to the story.
