Today we discuss whether the term 'false teacher' is overused and what the Bible has to say about the characteristics of a false teacher. We discuss the attitude many christians have towards shallow teaching and a misuse of the biblical concept of 'spiritual milk' vs 'spiritual meat' in regard to false teachers, shallow preaching, and so on. This is the first part of spending some time trying to assess where the church has allowed a cultural attitude of viciousness to creep in to how we address pastors with perhaps, less than exceptional preaching.
