Madame Web will be the first bad movie of the year for many, including WSM. Ryan and Mark give the movie a 5 and 3, respectively. Madame Web starring Dakota Johnson is another movie based on a Marvel Comic. The film covers the origin of Madame Web by telling the story of her discovering her abilities and how the she came by them.
One of the biggest challenges this film faces as a superhero movie is that there really isn't much super hero action. For the most part, the future heroes are just victims throughout the majority of the movie. They mostly possess no superhuman abilities and get by on luck. The acting in the movie and/or the lines are pretty cringy at times. There are also some sequences that really don't make much sense. The combination of these things might make many want to balk on the film before it is over.
