On December 30, 2021, a fire in Boulder County fueled by hurricane force winds destroyed more than 1,000 homes and the investigation is underway. Coincidentally, I found myself in the middle of the fire, that will forever be remembered as the Marshall Fire, with my buddy Rob. All we were doing was trying retrieve his truck from Park and Ride in Superior and somehow ended up in an historic wildfire.

Authorities are now investigating the cause since the electric company has said they didn't lose any power lines in the high winds. Some investigators say they know the point of origin.

We were lucky to have fast acting authorities who rerouted traffic and I am confident they saved many lives. This episode is our experience with the fire. If you can help support the victims I will provide some links below.
