What exactly happened to Mary Reeser on the morning of July 2, 1951 in her St. Petersburg, FL apartment? The chair she was sitting in and most of her body was reduced to ash and cinders yet the rest of the apartment was virtually untouched by the flames that had to reach temperatures of 1300 degrees. Some things in the apartment were melted and there was soot and smoke damage on the walls above 4 feet and the ceiling.

Did she spontaneously combust as some of the theories say? Or did she accidentally burn herself up in her sleep? Or was it a case of something more sinister?

We speculate on these theories in this episode of Will Continue To Monitor.
