This week was a hard week to summarize. We started with a summary of all of what's currently going on with the controversy regarding and subsequent statements from both Rachael Kirkconnell and Chris Harrison. Below are the different things mentioned in the episode if you have not already seen or listened to them: - Rachel Lindsay and Van Lathan's Reddit AMA: https://bit.ly/3dvoDlI; - Rachel and Van's episode on the Higher Learning podcast that goes behind the interview with Chris Harrison: https://apple.co/3k9ab3V; - The Blckchelorette's Instagram video in response to both the situation with Rachael Kirkconnell and Chris Harrison: https://bit.ly/37uW584; - Bachelor Data's analysis on the racial composition and screen time split for the women of Season 25: https://bit.ly/3k2AusJ It's a hard shift from the important topics in Bachelor news to go on to the episode, which made me think about skipping a recap at all. The second part of the podcast goes into this week's show mainly because we're finally getting to hear from so many of the women we haven't had enough time with thus far and I wanted to get the chance to talk about them and their stories. I'm joined by mental health advocate and blogger (https://preppyrunner.com) Theodora Blanchfield to discuss who goes home this week - some Matt's doing some self-selecting out, some of the questionable things they chose for these 1:1 dates and what we have in store for the rest of the season.
