Mitch is joined by Rhyland Qually, a fellow strength coach from Winnipeg, where we discuss Rhyland's journey from being a chubby kid to becoming a boxing enthusiast and eventually a fitness coach.

Rhyland participated in a fitness competition four years ago but was disappointed with his performance. He decided to do it again and worked on improving his posing and building more size, and came away with four medals this time. - 6:55

What was the difference? Rhyland hired a posing coach and a training nutrition coach to help him. He followed a diet plan with higher protein intake, did strength workouts, and maintained a high step count to achieve his goal. - 14:20

Rhyland discussed his experience in the final stages of prep, the extreme methods required to get sub 10% bodyfat, including gradually decreasing his calorie intake and increasing his cardio. He also emphasized the importance of incorporating walking and mindful eating, and acknowledged the trade-offs and potential risks involved in extreme dieting and exercise. - 20:49

Rhyland and Mitch discussed their weight loss journeys and shared tips on how to maintain a healthy relationship with food, including meal planning and prepping, flexible dieting, and incorporating daily walks. Rhyland also shared some of his creative low-calorie, high-protein recipes. - 28:11
