There's a problem with telling yourself you'll start "January 7th"

The best time is always today.

There's no magic to waiting for next Monday, next month, or next year.

It gives you some internal validation to pick a start date, but let's call it what it is: procrastination of the highest order.

I know, you've probably tried it all – diets that make eating a chore...workouts that burn you out, etc..

I can boldly say you haven't found the right way to do things.
