Their helmets were folded flat when not used and had no face mask. The High School football players in 1948 also had no mouth guards. Their home field is located in one of the most brutal climates in the State of Michigan. The Munising Mustangs 1948 team is remembered by the actual players. You had to be tough to play and they were the best. It was their most sincere wish to have this recording be somehow shared with the generations to follow. Somehow, a cassette tape was found and we digitized it to find this very rare recording.
