Donald Jacques is a father, grandfather, veteran, programmer, handyman, and analog astronaut. With 8 children, over 15 grandchildren, he is keenly interested in the future. With pollution, climate change, and the opportunity that SpaceX and Blue Origin offer for the exploration and settlement of space, he is worried. He will be attending the Mars Society Annual Conference, October 6, to present the Ecological Life Support System he has been developing as Chief Scientist of EarthSeed Inc. Seven years ago he built an RV with a difference: in addition to the living space, he added a fish pond, swamp, and garden. The Mobile Analog Space Habitat is the mobile research site, and educational platform that has already traveled around the country twice sharing his message.
