It's time again, for Dawn and Jen to go on a journey of re-discovery through one of horror's most beloved franchises: The Evil Dead. After a grueling and miserable flop for their second feature, Raimi and company reluctantly set their sights on a sequel and finally work the kinks out of this whole movie making thing.

...while still almost killing an actor or two. Baby steps.

The Evil Dead movies officially became a franchise with the release of Evil Dead 2: Dead By Dawn and the series cemented the distinctive style, humor, and over-the-top gleeful terror and gore that would characterize it from here on out.

This episode is the second in a series that will cover all three Evil Dead movies and the 2013 remake. Stay tuned.
