She’s a NASCAR gal gone INDYCAR. Liz Allison has spent her professional career in stock cars, but, when the pandemic hit, she found herself at home in Nashville with time on her hands. As fate would have it, Allison joined forces with long-time friend, Matt Crews to become the Director of Partnership Relations for the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix. This event, unlike others, is more than just a race… it’s an entertainment extravaganza that includes 14 events that lead up to the race where Allison and her team are involved with them all.

Allison takes us through her team’s duties leading up to race weekend and shares how this event is so different than those she’s worked in the past. It has been a labor of love for Liz as she works hard to ensure that all who attend the race will walk away in awe.

Host Amanda Busick chats with Allison about how she dealt with the loss of her husband, Davey, and how she worked through her grief to come out the other side. Liz gives great advice to those going through tragedy and shares what helped her move on.

Today, Liz Allison has love at home and at the race track. We’re proud of her perseverance as she steers her team across the finish line of the inaugural Big Machine Music City Grand Prix.
