On this episode of the Women Who Sport podcast - we are joined by the astounding Asma Elbadawi!

As well as being a basketball player, Asma is also a poet who broke onto the scene after winning BBC Radio's First Words competition and has been recognised at the British Muslim Awards. She is also known for her activism, most notably working to overturn the ban by the International Basketball Federation on wearing religious head gear on the court. She truly is a history maker!

Beyond these achievements Asma is thoughtful, genuine, humble and inspiring.
