In this episode, Chip and Cary have their inaugural interview with Jimmy Gonzales, a legendary skateboarder from Corpus Christi who is still skateboarding at the age of 70 years old.

They discuss the early years of skateboarding, the role Texas, and specifically Corpus Christi had to play. Jimmy spans both technical wizardry and ingenuity of innovating things like new bushing design as well as the gnarly grit needed to skate some of the ramps and pools of his time.

What some may criticize as just carving, Jimmy brings to light just how hesh skaters were in the early years way before there was equipment to make what we do now relatively easy.

Not to mention, he took a bus downtown at 6 years old, drove a car to junior high, and talked his way to police, security guards, business owners, and construction workers playing the "old man" card in his 20's and 30's to be able to skate some of the most ridiculously insane spots you will every hear about.

This interview is both educational and entertaining and will surely go down as one of the greats.
