About your Work Wonders hosts
Susan Rochester is the Managing Director of Balance At Work, a boutique consultancy that she co-founded in 2006, her business supports small to medium enterprises with coaching, tools and systems to help make people management much more manageable. Susan has qualifications in business and HR and takes great pleasure in being able to take the pain out of managing people. Susan and Angela both know how and where to find simple answers to complex problems.
Angela Gauci is the Owner of Total Workforce Services, which she founded in 2015. Her business specializes in supporting small businesses and not for profits. She helps simplify people management and will guide you with simple and effective tools and affordable outsourced HR management so that your business can thrive. Angela's HR career has spanned across many industries and types of organizations from less than five staff to over 300 recruiting frontline positions, right up to CEOs. Like Susan, Angela's expertise covers all the areas of the employment relationship.
We both have a passion for Australian small businesses and a strong belief that good HR management can benefit any business, no matter how small.
Combined, we have over 38 years of experience in HR to share. So this podcast will discuss topics from the world of HR. So from starting an employment relationship all the way to ending it, workers' compensation, work, health and safety, payroll training and development and everything in between. We'll bring you up-to-date information on legal updates, and best practices, and provide you with guidance to recruit, engage, and retain a great team of staff in your small business.
