When Denise Bradley-Tyson’s husband - former Kaiser Permanente CEO Bernard J Tyson - passed away, she took on his work to bridge health equity gaps. Working with the American Heart Association, she’s helped drive the creation of a special fund that provides grants and low interest loans to social entrepreneurs and not-for-profits, ensuring both the funding and technical expertise needed to help new projects grow.
