Andrew Zarian is back with another Sunday edition of Wrestling Observer Live, discussing all the latest professional wrestling news. WWE Backlash took place Saturday night. I break down the show, including the main event featuring John Cena versus Randy Orton, taking us back to 2004. I also discuss the standout performers, including Jacob Fatu and Lyra Valkyria. I give an overview of this week's AEW TV and how they are using these smaller venues to their advantage. I also give what seems like weekly praise to the character work of Toni Storm. Plus, thoughts on this week's SmackDown, Mercedes Mone dropping the New Japan Strong Women's Title, and the best thing of the week! All this and more!…

WrestleMania Fallout! Andrew Zarian is back with another Sunday edition of Wrestling Observer Live, discussing the latest news from professional wrestling. Following WrestleMania weekend, I share my thoughts on the main event of night two and the negative impact of The Rock's absence. I also discuss how he attempted to backtrack and rectify the situation instead of simply admitting he never planned on being at WrestleMania. I follow up on the Raw after WrestleMania; with John Cena as champion again, we're getting another program with Randy Orton. Additionally, we witnessed the formation of a new faction seemingly led by Paul Heyman, and I provide my analysis. AEW is building towards Double or Nothing. I offer my insights on this week's Dynamite and Collision, with the highlight being FTR's heel turn and alignment with Stokely Hathaway. Plus, I'll share my thoughts on the Owen Hart Cup finals, Gunther's time off, and more!…

Andrew Zarian is back with another Sunday edition of Wrestling Observer Live, talking all the latest in professional wrestling. We are in the middle of WrestleMania weekend. With night two of WrestleMania getting ready to start, I break down night one, concluding with the big turn at the end with Paul Heyman aligning himself with Seth Rollins. The other big story from yesterday was the acquisition of AAA Lucha by the WWE. I give my thoughts and talk about what we know as of now on this situation, what it means for smaller promotions, including New Japan and others. I also preview night two of WrestleMania and give my thoughts on the main event between John Cena and Cody Rhodes, and why Bayley was pulled from her match. Plus, highlights from some of the bigger independent shows, including Minoru Suzuki taking on Butterbean. All this and more!…

CM Punk's favor, AEW heads to Dynasty Andrew Zarian is back with another episode of the Sunday edition of Wrestling Observer Live, talking all the latest news in professional wrestling. I start off this week talking about Friday Night SmackDown Live from London, as it had a lot of ramifications for Wrestlemania. Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and CM Punk close the show with a contract signing. Paul Heyman tells CM Punk he has his WrestleMania main event, as the match will go on last one of the nights, however, Punk would reveal that was not the favor. I talk about what this means and speculate the many different ways this all plays out. With the negotiation period for the PPV rights for UFC coming up in a couple of weeks, I talk about the possibility of Netflix or another streaming service getting those rights and pushing ESPN and other mainstream platforms out of live sports in the future. I also ran down the card for next weekend's AEW Dynasty and the build from Saturday's Collision. I speculate on the end game for the Death Riders story and why the best ending for this will be Moxley retaining and eventually dropping to Will Osprey, possibly at All In. Plus, Rey Fenix on Smackdown, TNA departures, and more! Andrew Zarian is back with another episode of Wrestling Observer Live, Sunday edition, talking all the latest news from the world of professional wrestling. WWE is starting to heat up on the Road to WrestleMania with the European tour happening now, and the crowds could not be better. I talk about how this tour is an example of wrestling being at its hottest in many years. Also, I discuss what happened on Smackdown this week, with the show essentially setting up three more WrestleMania matches, including a wild pull-apart brawl between Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and CM Punk, where apparently you have to point at the WrestleMania sign, in the middle of the brawl. I also discuss this week's AEW Collision and touch on some of the bigger stories coming out of Dynamite this week, including the fact that the biggest star in AEW is Toni Storm and not Jon Moxley. Plus, a rundown of the current cards for WrestleMania and AEW Dynasty, Homicide's retirement, and more WWE wrestlers present at Josh Barnett's Bloodsport. All this and more!…
