The X Factor originally began as the XY Factor on the Cerritos College Campus in Norwalk, California. The first show aired on January 15, 2003 on WPMD 956 on the AM Band. The show was conceived by Juve Vique as a talk show about relationships. The first two shows that aired had Juve as a host along with a co-host, Karla, Juve's ex-girlfriend at the time. The show didn't do so well and it was quickly re formated. Juve's cousin, Ruben, came in as the new co-host, the name was changed from the XY Factor to The X Factor and a new chemistry began anew. The X Factor would also be one of the first shows to launch the new, at the time, internet radio station at Cerritos College. WPMD on the Net allowed students to broadcast shows with music and subjects that they could not otherwise play on the AM portion of the radio station. The show had a variety of guests, non too important, but mostly talked about every day life. Within a couple of months the show had a a regular guest. Scott Graham became a regular on the show filling in for Ruben when he could not make it. As much fun as the cast of The X Factor had making it, due to broadcasting from a College Campus, certain topics could not be brought up and the cast had to watch their language. Since the show went off the air in mid 2004. In January 2008, Juve and Ruben, who at the time were residents in Hunter's Creek in Orlando, Florida, had been wanting to bring the show back to life. Since that month up until March 2009, the X Factor re surface as a one hour pod cast with a couple of mini sodes in certain months. In March of 2009, Juve moved back to California while Ruben remained in Florida. In the Month of November 2009, they both recorded a show giving listeners an update on what's been going on since the last show went out. Now they will, once again, do shows but bi-coastally this time. This Podcast was created using www.talkshoe.com
