You will LOVE this guest episode with Amanda Smith, founder of The Dallas Girl Gang, an inclusive global community for women in business that is the OPPOSITE of mean girls culture. (Legit, their slogan is “you CAN sit with us” lol.)

In this interview Amanda and I recall our first (& kinda negative) experiences with networking in the small business community, and we reflect on where the industry has shifted since then. For Amanda, what started as a simple Facebook group and a few dates in Eventbrite, would soon turn into a MASSIVE community and a high-end event business. (Don’t worry, I ask a lot of questions about how she got from there to here.)

It is so important to find a group of people who can champion you as you embark on the tough stuff that entrepreneurship holds. You *can* do it alone, but you will get farther and have more fun along the way if you invite others in.
