When Ben Sommers traveled to Botoga, Colombia last year to visit some of the orphanages and meet with the Colombian officials he gained a new understanding to the 'changing adoption landscape' for this country. Ben returned to write an article on his experience and now shares his trip and some of his impressions and experiences with us. Ben is the Associate Director of International Programs for Spence-Chapin. He oversees the international adoption programs for the three countries Spence-Chapin represents, Bulgaria, South Africa, and Colombia.
