In today's episode, Jodie and Samantha are talking about self-love and how to relate more kindly to yourself. They believe it's high time we, as women, start treating ourselves the way we'd treat a good friend and learn to separate who you are from what happens to you. The message of this episode is simple: know that you are always doing the best you can, you are not a problem or project to be fixed and that becoming the best version of yourself takes time, effort and intention. And what's more, no matter what’s happened to you, offer yourself some grace and remember that you are not your circumstances.

In This Episode We Talk About:

  • unconditional self-love and the ways we, as women, put conditions on our love for ourselves and others
  • why self-acceptance doesn't mean complacency
  • the river of misery and why it's the biggest place of growth in your life
  • the #1 thing that most people get wrong about self-love
  • why it's important to have compassion for yourself when you are going through change or a difficult time
  • the difference between TOWARD vs AWAY FROM motivation
