Dr. Jeanine Cook-Garard talks with Nailah Garard, a local farmer, cultural anthropologist, and land conservationist from Long Island, NY. She recently received a Master of Arts in Religion at Yale Divinity School (YDS) and a Master of Environmental Management at Yale School of Environment (YSE). She is the founder of Succotash Gardens, a community food resilience hub on her family’s church land in Roosevelt, NY where her team is developing a food forest garden and community-supported agriculture (CSA). She is also Jeanine's daughter! Together they talk about the importance of Environmental Health.
