Fresh off of her fire set at Musikfest, we're joined by Rachel Ana Dobken who's bluesy rock is continually reaching new heights...and she's releasing new music to take it even higher!
We'll dive in to her backstory and learn how Ed Sullivan contributed to her dreams of becoming a rock star, and how anxiety set-up an obstacle course that she had to navigate to get there. She also hears her songs as a drummer, so we chat a bit about how that impacts her process and the end result.
We'll also share some live performances from Musikfest - one from the set with the band, and one acoustic recorded during the Daily Livestream at Godfrey Daniels earlier that day. Both are songs that are going to be part of the upcoming release. And we get an early peek at the first single "Cruel Cruel Cruel".
