It’s all about education. That’s right- whether you’re focused on personal growth or professional development- being a nurse you need to continue to educate yourself and your nursing practice.

Leah Martinez-Davis, MSN, RN is a registered nurse educator with a clinical background in neonatal intensive care nursing. She believes that supporting our and each other’s professional development is key to creating and delivering changes within ourselves and within an organization. Her passion for it lead to founding Pivoting Aspects, Inc., a healthcare educational consulting in San Bruno, CA that is launching this month. Her initial aim is to reach rather than compete.

A few take aways from our interview with Leah Martinez-Davis, MSN, RN include:

  • How medication errors can lead to resilience;
  • What being in agreement with yourself can do for your nursing career;
  • And why stepping outside of your comfort zone may make you the very best nurse!
