Nurses, it’s never too late (or too early) to go for what you want! Having the mindset and proper preparation will help you reach those nursing career goals.

Diane Kornegay BSN, RN has a passion for nursing and those in the field. Diane recently finished her BSN through Grand Canyon University and is trying out rehab nursing. Diane began her career at 17 as an LPN and has progressed in her education over the years.

A few take aways from our interview with Diane Kornegay BSN, RN include:

  • How having the right clothes and equipment can make your shift more efficient;
  • What starting a shift with a positive mentality can do for your nursing role;
  • And why seeing your patients as people rather than an assignment is THE way to practice nursing!
