Jeremy gets the chance to sit down with the delightful Kit Weathers for a neurodivergent chat. We talk about Kit’s journey from pastor’s kid, to missionary, to deconstructing and becoming a sex therapist and religious trauma recovery coach, with some mental health diagnoses sprinkled in. Kit and Jeremy talk about finding the good parts of church outside of religion, the privileged space religion gets in our society, and the way neurodivergent brains find each other for support. We also talk about sad dad music because Kit’s practice is named in reference to one of my favorite bands. It’s a great chat that covers a lot of ground, check it out!

To learn more about Kit and their practice, head over to lemonworld.online or give them a follow on Instagram. Kit also has a great group called De-indoctrinated over on Facebook, and offers live workshops on their social media, so be sure to give them a follow!
Jeremy has all his practice info at Wellness with Jer, and you can find him on Instagram and YouTube.
Head over to Patreon to support the show, or you can pick up some merch! We appreciate support from likes, follows, and shares as well!

Podcasts about therapy do not replace actual therapy, and listening to a podcast about therapy does not signify a therapeutic relationship.
