This week, we discuss house music and podcasting with our guest, host of the Slimson Podcast - Oli Jackson.
The Slimson Podcast is an informal monthly ‘Chin Wag’ about all things house music and the power of a repetitive beat. Oli started the Slimson podcast in 2022 and has interviewed some huge names in the world of house music, including Mr C from The Shamen, Jet Boot Jack and Danielle Moore from Crazy P to name but a few.
Oli is an Actor and a DJ with over 20 years of experience working in the entertainment industry. He has played at some of the coolest parties in London and beyond, DJing in clubs such as Ministry and Egg in the capital and for brands as big as Ibiza Rocks and HotBed. Most recently Oli was asked to DJ for Gym Shark’s summer party, warming up for Wretch 32. Whether it’s a wedding party on the white isle that love their soulful house or a private party that requires a multi genre set for all ages, Oli prides himself on keeping people stuck to the dance floor.
