Rory Doyle is the winner of the 2019 Zeiss Photography Award.

A native of Maine, Rory moved to the delta town of Cleveland, Mississippi to teach when he happened on a sight that struck him; African-American cowboys on horseback.

He went on to gain the trust of locals and began work on his photo story “The Delta Hill Riders.” The essay has also earned Rory recognition with the Smithsonian Photo Contest Grand Prize as well as gallery exhibitions world-wide.
