What a joy it was to interview The Amazing Kreskin! I remember watching The Amazing Kreskin when I was a little girl. I remember trying to figure out how this guy was doing what he was doing? It appeared to me that he was reading a person's mind...was he psychic? No, Kreskin is quick to point out that he is not a psychic because he cannot see into the future but that he is an entertainer who can read other people's thoughts...in real time. He was inspired at the age of 9 by Lee Falk's famous comic strip Mandrake the Magician, which featured a crime-fighting stage magician and he decided that that was who he was going to become. Kreskin still has that showman's flair, a comedian's wit and yes he is also a thought reader. Throughout his lifetime he has made numerous appearances on Johnny Carson, Regis Philbin, David Letterman and most recently Jimmy Fallon, Neil Cavuto and Howard Stern. In 2014 Kreskin mentally trained three up and coming boxers to victory. Kreskin also teaches classes for law enforcement groups, which "focuses on psychological methods such as jogging lost memories through relaxation techniques or detecting lies through body language and voice inflections." In March 2016 Kreskin released his 20th book entitled, “In Real Time” featuring his major predictions for the next several hundred years. At 81 years of age, Kreskin shows no signs of slowing down.
