In this episode I sit down with my friend Ani who escaped Romania during the revolution. We talk and remember favorite foods our parents cooked for us and she shares her family's ordeal escaping to freedom during a dangerous time in Romania.
Ani shares her favorite herb that I have never tried but am now growing in my garden, a Romanian favorite they use by the handfuls.
We also shine a light on a non-profit organization helping small Romanian farms.
