Welcome to our first in-person recording of What’s New to Netflix Instant!? in fifteen months! We have one-time guest of the show, Savannah, to join in on the fun as we go through all of the new films and titles coming to Netflix in July 2021.

Then when Diane Lane gets kidnapped by an evil biker gang led by Willem Dafoe, it’s up to her ex-boyfriend and a band of misfits to rescue her in the rock and roll fable, Streets of Fire from 1984. Next, Liam Neeson and his brother have to transport cargo to save a group of trapped miners, but aside from dodging bad guys and avalanches they have to drive on roads made of thin ice in The Ice Road from 2021. And finally, it’s the completely inaccurate story of America animated through the lens of Adult Swim-styled irreverence and crude humor in America: The Motion Picture from 2021.

All of this plus we sincerely apologize for the glitchy and annoying audio quality that appears near the end of the ‘July releases’ portion of the episode, however it seems to clear up significantly during our movie reviews. It was our first time recording IRL in a year and a half so cut us some slack!
