They’ve been promising it for weeks and Elizabeth and Sarah are finally delivering (mainly on Elizabeth as she was too busy hunting down vampires and hot dads to watch it when originally promised)...that’s right it’s the next installment of their snap judgement series focusing on Netflix’s summer teen sensation Outer Banks.
Because she has no newer references and is stuff in adolescence the pilot episode is giving Elizabeth major Dawson’s Creek vibes. Not sure if that’s due to the North Carolina setting, JJ’s Pacey vibes or the love triangle that will 100% occur once that blonde makes her way into the crew.
Major questions posed during the episode. Does it matter if the main characters in these teen shows ever attend school? Does the whole world know/care about OBX? Would we have met hot townies if we had continued to go to our family’s NC beach destination as teenagers?
The biggest question of course is, will Elizabeth watch the rest of Season 1 and potentially a Season 2 or will this be another Riverdale situation?
