We love our Patreon supporters, and this week we want to especially thank Coral, Molly, Michelle, Lindsay, Michelle, and Lauren. Also, we have a special offer running for the rest of the month! If you join at any reward level before March 31, you’ll receive a free (and exclusive) enamel pin!

We’re so excited to invite Jamila Rowser back to talk about another successful Kickstarter campaign: The Saddest Angriest Black Girl in Town.

The Saddest Angriest Black Girl in Town is an autobiographical comic that’s dedicated to exploring the intersection of Blackness and mental health, created by the award-winning cartoonist Robyn Smith (Nubia: Real One, Wash Day). It was originally self-published by Robyn in 2016 and was named one of the best short-form comics of 2016 by The Comics Journal!

Black Josei Press is excited to be reprinting the 32-page comic which features a gorgeous new watercolor cover and bonus process pages.

They’ve already reached their goal, but there are some really exciting stretch goals to explore before the campaign ends in 8 days. Please join us in backing this incredible project!

Special thanks to our executive producers for this episode Geeklery, LoganArch and Karen Hallion.
