In this podcast I interview Amanda Meggison who is a passionate plant based endurance athlete but is poles apart from a tree hugging hippy that many of us might associated with being a ‘vegan’. The founder of Planted Life, Amanda believes the food we are eating today is making us fat, sick and nearly dead and we need to change our relationship with the foods we eat.
Throughout this podcast it is hard not to be influenced by Amanda’s contagious enthusiasm and her passion for plants and I love her approach, ‘recalibrating people’s palate’. So if you are interested in looking after yourself this is a great podcast where Amanda encourages you to ‘think differently’ and have a healthy relationship with food.
Amanda, gives us a snap shot of what a typical ‘vegan’ lifestyle might look like as well as providing some great meal options and examples throughout. So if you are consuming too much meat (like myself), have a poor relationship with food, or you are just inquisitive about plant based eating this is a fantastic podcast to download.
