Students with disabilities often struggle to adjust to the rigors of college, and consequently experience stress, anxiety, depression and all manner of related issues. One factor that can contribute to this problem is the surprise and lack of preparation parents and students alike experience when the accommodation process switches from a success model in K-12 to an Equal Access model in college.
