Show Summary:
“Use your vision to craft your goals and milestones.”

Goal planning can be challenging if you think of it long term, and it can even be a struggle for others, especially if they don't know what they want, why they want it, and how to get it. I know how exhausting it can be to keep figuring out all of these things within a given timeline, but in this episode, I share with you a practical method I've been practicing in mapping out my goals using only 1/4 of my time.

You can find this method in the book 12 Week Year by Brian Moran & Michael Lennington. And if you read it, you'll learn the concept of annualization, which condenses your 12-month planning to only 12 weeks. They mentioned that thinking in years hinders our progress and potential for the entire duration, and the purpose of this method is to combat the hindrance to make our goals more achievable.

Be with me through this 34-minute episode, and let's deep dive into each of the principles and disciplines discussed in the book. Let's find out which ones I agree with and recommend the most. Don't forget to share with your loved ones to maximize your time for planning even more!

Show Highlights:

The benefit of long term thinking

Celz 6:24

  • Achieving our dreams or goals is hard if we don't understand why we're doing something. Why bother when we can fall back into our comfort zone, which is why it's so important to have that skill of long-term thinking.

Believe in energy management

Celz 20:28

  • Energy management is basically like time management. Instead of focusing on the duration, consider how much energy it takes you. You're not a robot. You have emotions, feelings, and your ability to focus is limited because you're a human being.

Let’s talk about greatness in the moment

Celz 24:18

  • Focus on what's there in the moment, be just right here, right now. Are you being good at what you're doing? Are you being purposeful with how you spend your time? Because time is limited.

I’ll be having a giveaway as a way of saying “THANK YOU” for your continuous support.
