What we do: Megan is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, member and CEO of Kopka Financial LLC, an RIA firm. Kopka Financial specializes in comprehensive financial planning and investment management. Megan drafts, designs, and implements plans for and with her clients by customizing each plan to each client while overlaying the best of financial practices and metrics. Financial planning is essential. After a plan is complete, then a client may choose to implement their financial plan with Kopka Financial's investment management.
About Megan: Originally, a native Clevelander, both college and the weather brought Megan to North Carolina, where she graduated from ECU with a BS in Economics. Earning her CFP® designation and working with clients is a passion for Megan and a role where she is proud to serve. Serving as a trusted adviser is a close second for Megan to her role as a mother of two adult children. Her son Bruce is often "at sea" working in the maritime industry and her daughter, Jaden is attending UNC Charlotte. Megan is an active participant in the community; she is an advocate for the Modern Widows Club, Cape Fear Community and collaborates and guest speaks with numerous organizations and is a member and past Area Director for Wilmington Toast Masters.
