Hurricane Ida hit the NJ & PA area north of Philadelphia, by the Delaware river with ruthless force. Enormous amounts of rain fell in a small amount of time on September 2, 2021. It spelled tragedy for far too many families. At least 23 were killed, most swept away while in their car. Depending on where you live in the world you may not have heard about the storm but the effects on the lives in a few small towns in Hunterdon County, NJ, were devastating and tragic. Greg Ferguson's car submerged as he drove home during the hurricane. His story is incredible, harrowing and inspiring.
