Corny movies with cheesy lines is something we grew up with during the 80s - but that's what makes them special and definitely encapsulated in time. But besides the cheesiness and the corniness, these movies carry something very special within them. Call it an added bonus, but no movie was complete if it didn't have a bad-ass soundtrack. Some songs were picked from a library, but others were so special that they had to be written (and some times re-written) for a film. Well, that's the case we dive into on this episode. We were a little past the middle point of the decade, and John Hughes was at the center of it all. He loved the synth-pop sound... So what does he do to make this film unforgettable? He asks two guys to write a corny song... but that's not where the story ends. Come along with me as we break down the story to song we've all heard at least once, by a group you don't know you already know. 80s movies wouldn't be the same without their music - so, if you leave without checking out this episode... don't look back.
