Episode 60 - Whitney Emanuel has been a financial adviser since 2011. She began at Ameriprise Financial and branched off on her own to start Whitney Wealth Group in 2016. She took an even bigger leap at the beginning of 2019 to leave the big-box financial world to go completely independent! She holds her CFP® and CRPC®, Series 7, 63, and 65 & multiple state insurance licenses. Whitney works with values-driven executives and business owners that want to know SPECIFICALLY how to plan for their goals and are motivated to do so.
She believes money is simply the means to your end: not the focus of your plan. She builds out individually customized strategies for her clients’ employer benefits, retirement and college funding, their total investment portfolio, and estate and tax strategies that are aligned with their core values. As a single working parent with her own business, she understands what it feels like to balance priorities and does exactly that for her hard-working clients, many of whom are also caretakers.
Whitney’s core values are faith in Jesus, service, health, family, decisiveness, and joy. She lives in South Minneapolis with her 7-year-old daughter, Zurisadai, 7-year-old Great Dane Mastiff, Anaba, and 1-year-old kitty, Nicollet. Whitney and Zuri love to serve in their faith family that provides for one another’s needs in housing, finances, prayer, and community.
