We open today’s episode with a somber nod to the reality of Roe v Wade being overturned. After a number of tangents that merit being put at the end of the episode, we return to Elayne as she descends to the palace basement to undergo the First Sister ceremony. We both think the ceremony is cool, if a bit weird in spots. Toveine Gazal has her last bitter moment in the POV spotlight as the Black Tower grows and descends towards shadow.
