Mario sits down with us to discuss his early childhood and the possible reasons behind his in and out incarceration bids throughout the last decade. Most importantly, how living behind bars and a couple of long stays in solitary confinement has molded his character for the bad and for the good. We discuss absolute segregation, old school prison life vs. new school prison life, and what it truly takes to survive being an “ex-convict”. Flourishing in the free-world has its’ challenging times for sure but Mario’s unequivocal faith and love for his freedom and family is what motivates him to staying out.
