Lt Col Brian Slade is an Air Force combat search and rescue (CSAR) helicopter pilot, and he was an Army AH-64 Apache gunship pilot. After numerous combat deployments, he wrote the book entitled, "Cleared Hot: Lessons Learned about Life, Love, and Leadership while Flying the Apache Gunship in Afghanistan, and Why I Believe a Prepared Mind Can Help Minimize PTSD."
