As a neurodistinct person, I have found over the years it increasingly difficult to meet new people, make new friends and maintain relationships.
This is why on this weeks episode, we want to talk about some of the issues we have faced, and how we have been able to over come certain challenges to maintain some relationships.
The topics we plan to cover are:
- In hindsight, how do you think your neurodiversity affected your attempts to make friends?
- What did you learn that changed things for you?
- Choosing the right friends
- Maintaining friendships in adulthood
- The importance of making the effort
- But what are the challenges?
- Open Hearted Meetups
- Recommendations based on our experiences
